Become a volunteer

  1. Sign up as a volunteer!
  2. Arrive at the Hollola village kiosk on the day you registered at 10:00 and look for Kari Rauha (tel. 044 236 0263), who is responsible for the volunteers.
  3. Let’s get to work!

Hollola Medieval Society provides volunteers with a warm meal on the building and dismantling days. Still, remember to bring at least something to drink! As thanks for your participation, you will receive a free ticket to the event and an invitation to the thank‑you party held in the autumn. If you also want to join the camp as a re‑enactor, please register as a camper as well and follow the instructions.

You may sign up for whichever volunteer days you prefer, but we especially hope to have people also for the dismantling days.

There is no ATM in Hollola village. The nearest shop, Sale, is located about 300 meters from the construction site. The Medieval Society’s office (upstairs in the old municipal building of Hollola) has toilet facilities and a kitchen where you can store your own food in the fridge.

Please dress in clothing suitable for physical work. Note that your clothes may get dirty. We also recommend bringing work gloves, and on hot days, a hat is essential. Everyone’s contribution is important — you do not need to be a construction expert or know how to use machinery; we will find suitable tasks for everyone. There is plenty to do, from building fences and painting signs to decorating the area and making coffee.

We are grateful for every participant.

Construction days: 13–17 July 2026 Dismantling days: 20–22 July 2026

You are warmly welcome to help build an unforgettable event!
