Products for sale must be suitable for medieval style. This must be considered from the product to its package, market stall and vendors clothing. Even food must be packed and served in either cardboard or paper packages. Only if some item is in its original plastic package, it is OK.
Organizer reserves the right not to accept vendors or products which do not fulfill the requirements mentioned above.
When you are insecure if your products or market stalls outfit are suitable, feel free to contact organizer to ensure these things.
Deadline of enrollment is 30.06.2026. We will contact you via e-mail. Please note that the enrollment is binding and doing so you agree to our vendors terms and conditions.

Sale space
A standard sale space for a market stand is 2m (width) x 3m (depth). The price for a standard 2m x 3m sale space is 120€ / whole event. If you need more width than 2 meters the price is 50€ per extra meter. The price for a sale space over 5 meters wide is negotiated separately.
Please notice, when you book your vendor sale space there will be only 50 cm space between sale space. If you need space for customers to walk around your stall, please include this in your sale space measurements.
Food vendors: If you would like to have tables and chairs for your costumers, please include this place in your vendor sale space measurements.
Electricity is only available for food vendors 20€/ event.
The price includes night security watch from Friday to Sunday, waste management and first aid.
The market stand will only be given to those who have paid for it in advance.
Terms and conditions
By accepting the vendors terms and conditions, you agree to keep your sale space open according to the common opening hours of the event. Hollola Medieval Market is open:
- Friday 17.7. 14:00 – 18:00
- Saturday 18.7. 10:00 – 18:00
- Sunday 19.7. 10:00 – 16:00
The vendor agrees to ensure that the sale space is ready on the opening day one hour before the opening time of the event and is open until the end of the event. Cars must be out of the market area by 13:00 on Friday.
Damages
The vendor is responsible for any personal injury or property damage caused by the structures, equipment, items for sale at their stand or by their activities and subcontractors, which may occur to the public, other vendors, the organizer, and the area.
Cleaning
The organizer is responsible for cleaning the market area and public walkways. Vendors are responsible for the cleanliness of their sale space and for transporting construction and other waste to waste containers provided by the organizer for this purpose. Vendors are responsible for the final cleaning of their sale space. If cleaning is not done, the organizer will have it done at the vendor’s expense.
Cancellation conditions
A binding sales space reservation is made by reserving a space directly using the form confirmed by the Hollolan keskiaikamarkkinat by 30.6.2026. We will send all registered participants a confirmation by email, which includes an invoice for the sales space.
A reservation accepted in writing or orally by the organizer is a binding agreement for both parties regarding the sales space and space rental. An oral reservation does not release the seller from the obligations of the written agreement.
The seller is not entitled to rent or transfer their stand or part of it without the organizer’s written permission. The seller has the right to cancel their participation in writing within 14 days of the organizer’s approval being notified to the seller by email keskiaika@keskiaika.fi.
If you must cancel your sales space closer to the event, for example due to illness:
- For sales spaces cancelled by 10.7.2026, we will refund 50% of the space fee.
- No refunds will be given for sales space cancellations made after this time.
Cancellation of the reservation must be made in writing to keskiaika@keskiaika.fi. Failure to pay the invoice is not sufficient to cancel the reservation. The organizer will confirm receipt of the cancellation sent by the seller by email.
Travelling guide to Hollola
The event is situated at old Hollola. The best way to get there is by car since there is no public transport available at summertime. The GPS address is Rantatie 917, 16710 Hollola.
Public transport will bring you as far as the Lahti railway and bus station Matkakeskus.
Arrival / Leaving
Vendors can arrive to set up their sale space on Thursday 16.7.2026.
Vendors arriving by car will be directed to drive from next to the Hollolan kirkonkylän kioski to the sales areas. Traffic in the market area is one-way.
Your market stand should be set up at Friday until 1 pm.
At Saturday and Sunday your stand should be ready until 9 am.
No vehicles are allowed in the event area during opening hours.
All packing and un-building of your stand shall begin only when the event has closed from the public.
The event is open to the public
- Friday 19.7. at 14.00 – 18.00
- Saturday 20.7. at 10.00 – 18.00
- Sunday 21.7. at 10.00 – 16.00
Facilities
There is several water points in the event area where you can get cold water. There are portable toilets in the area, but no showers. There is no cold storage available in the area. The area has night surveillance on both Friday – Saturday and Saturday – Sunday nights.
ATM
There is no ATM at the site. Nearest ATM can be found about 15 km east at Salpakangas.
Food
Everybody is responsible for ones own meals. Warm meals can be purchased from the restaurant tent at lunch hours.There’s a grocery store “Sale” approx. 300 meters from the west gate.
Rules
No smoking at all times except at places clearly marked for smoking as “Tupakkapaikka”/ “smoking area”. This restriction is valid also during the feast and after opening hours of the event. Smoking at your fireplace is prohibited. This is a matter of fire security and common health.
Security
During opening hours first aid personnel can be found at tent marked as “INFO”. While event is closed for audience first aid kit can be found at the same tent. Every security/health incident has to be reported for event safety manager (Lauri Lännenpää 0403589259). In serious security/health incidents call for help at emergency number 112. Fireplaces
Only above ground fireplaces allowed. Fireplace has to be as authentic as possible. There has to be at least one fire extinguisher for each fireplace. Fire extinguishers for emergency use are located at ticket sale booths, tent marked as “INFO”, at childrens area and at the restaurant.
Refreshments
During opening hours drinking alcohol is only allowed at the restaurant and only for over 18 year olds. Even when the event is closed for audience please drink all beverages from a period cup. No bottles or cans visible.
Event security info
Event security briefing will be given to all attendees as suitable but there will be no separate garhering for this matter.
Pets
Re-enactors and market sales personnel are welcome to bring pets with them to the event. For the audience it is prohibited to bring dogs to the area.
